They know that the Islamic Republic of Iran will not give up on its indisputable right to have access to peaceful nuclear technology, he added.
Bakhshayesh also said the US should reconsider its inimical policies against Iran, adding it is inevitable for the US and its allies to accept Iran as an important decision maker with regard to international upheavals and a powerful country in terms of conducting peaceful nuclear and space exploration activities.
He said those countries that have entangled themselves with the US-led sanction policy against Iran, are well aware that not only have the sanctions affected the country, they also have damaged their own economy.
On December 31, 2011, the United States imposed new sanctions against Iran aimed at preventing other countries from importing Iran’s oil and doing transactions with its central bank.
European Union foreign ministers also approved sanctions against Iran on January 23, including a ban on Iranian oil imports, a freeze on the assets of the country’s central bank within EU states and a ban on selling diamonds, gold, and other precious metals to Tehran.
The United States, Israeli regime and their European allies accuse Tehran of pursuing military objectives in its nuclear program and have used this pretext to push for international and unilateral sanctions against the Islamic Republic.
Iran has rejected the Western publicity that its nuclear program may be diverted to military objectives while stressing that as a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency, it is entitled to pursue nuclear technology for its numerous civilian uses and benefits.

Iraq has the lion share of positive trade balance with Iran in the said period with 42.5 percent of the transactions, it added.
Iran’s foreign trade balance in the ten months of 2012, with the exception of crude oil and gas condensates exports, experienced a $20-million deficit as compared with the $24-million deficit of the same period last year, the review added.
Earlier this month, the head of Iran’s Customs Office, Abbas Memarnejad, said the volume of the country’s trade transactions with 150 countries has reached $65.5 billion in the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 20-November 21).
“The volume of Iran’s non-oil export stood at 51.8 million tons with a value of $28 billion and the volume of the country’s imports amounted to 27.2 million tons with a value of $37.4 billion in the said period,” Memarnejad said.
He said Iran’s exports grew 2 percent, while imports fell 6 percent during the first 8 months of the current year compared with the same period last year.
Electricity Supply to Neighbors Up by 40%
Iran’s electricity export to neighboring countries has increased by about 40 percent as the Islamic Republic is helping them overcome regular power outages.
Iran has boosted its power output in recent years and exported 7,668.9 gigawatt hours (GWh) of electricity to its neighbors since the beginning of the current year (started March 20), Press TV reported.
Iran’s power exports this year have been 39.22 percent higher compared to the same period a year ago when the country exported some 5,508.3 GWh of electricity to neighboring states.
Iran is currently exchanging electricity with Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Pakistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey.
Earlier in February, Energy Minister Majid Namjou said the country was planning to export electricity to Syria and Lebanon through Iraq’s power grid.
He said that Iran is capable of exporting 1,000 megawatts (MW) of electricity to Iraq, adding that Syria had also requested 500 MW of electricity.
Seeking to become a major regional exporter of electricity, Iran has attracted more than $1.1 billion in investments to build three new power plants.
According to the minister, by the end of the 5th Five-Year Economic Development Plan (2011-15), Iran will boost its electricity generation capacity by 25 gigawatts to reach 73 gigawatts.
Iran’s Energy Root Of Turkey’s Economic Growth
Turkey has underlined growing economic interactions with Tehran, saying its economic growth is mainly indebted to trade and energy imports from Iran.
The remarks were made by Turkish Minister of Economy Mehmet Zafer Caglayan in an interview with TGRT news network in Ankara on Friday, Fars News Agency reported.
“There have been many years that Turkey has been indebted to Iran for the natural gas it has been importing from that country,” he added.
According to the figures released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, Iran becomes Turkey’s third biggest business partner with a trade exchange of $17.52 billion.
Turkey imported $8.94 billion in goods from Iran, and exported $8.58 billion in goods to the Islamic Republic during this period.
Trade between Turkey and Iran has risen sharply over the past decade.
Turkey was Iran’s fifth-largest oil customer in 2011, buying around 200,000 barrels per day, 30 percent of its total imports and more than 7 percent of Iran’s oil exports.
The two countries’ officials stressed the necessity for stronger relations and pursuing the planned increase of mutual trade to $30 billion by 2015.

Meanwhile, a senior official of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Mines urged for revision in basic price of some export commodities.

He blamed export problems and Western sanctions as factors triggering unhealthy competition among some exporters.
