Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif left Tehran for Geneva on Monday to hold talks with his European counterparts on the eve of a new round of nuclear talks with the six world powers in Switzerland.

Zarif will meet foreign ministers of Netherlands and Russia and the UN Human Rights High Commissioner in Geneva before he departs for Montreux, where a fresh round of nuclear talks are due to take place, IRNA reported.

Zarif is also scheduled to deliver a speech at the UN Human Rights Council on Monday.

Iran's nuclear negotiators will accompany Zarif to Geneva and then will depart for Montreux for the nuclear negotiations.
