Iran, Indonesia to increase cooperation in industry

Iran's Ambassador to Indonesia Valiollah Mohammadi Nasrabadi and Indonesian Industry Minister Saleh Husin in a meeting stressed increase of mutual cooperation in field of industry.

During the meeting on Friday, Indonesian industry minister said that Jakarta needs cooperation with Iran in order to boost its industrial and petrochemical structure, IRNA reported.

Iran's ambassador to Jakarta for his part welcomed expansion of all-out ties between the two countries.

He urged formation of a joint committee to promote bilateral cooperation.

Referring to Iran's participation in constructing a power plant in Belawan region of Indonesia, Mohammadi Nasrabadi noted that the two sides' industrial cooperation is progressing.

Iranian and Indonesian officials on different occasions have called for utilizing the existing capacities in both countries to pave the way for the further development of Tehran-Jakarta relations.
