Serbian deputy prime minister departs Belgrade for Tehran

Serbia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of External and Internal Trade and Telecommunications Rasim Liaich departed Belgrade for Tehran on Sunday night.

Heading a five member delegation, Liaich arrived Tehran to discuss ways of expansion of relations between Tehran and Belgrade, IRNA reported.

Liaich, who is head of the Iran-Serbia joint commission, is scheduled to discuss all out ties between the two states particularly in the field of agriculture and construction building.

Iranian Ambassador to Serbia Majid Fahimpour, in an interview with IRNA on Sunday, voiced hope that Serbia deputy prime minister's visit to Iran promote trade relations between the two countries and prepare the ground for holding the 14th Iran-Serbia joint commission this year.
