In this period, the country also exported 4.34 million tons of cement, IRNA reported.
During May 22-June 21, cement and clinker outputs stood at 5.88 million tons and 6.4 million tons, respectively.
Also, 12.67 million tons of cement was supplied to the domestic market in the first 93 days of the year to mid-March 2016.
Earlier, the Guild Association of Cement Industrialists put the total cement and clinker exports in the year to March 20, 2015, at 18.94 million tons, up by 129,000 tons compared to last year's figure.
Iran ranks first in cement production and exports in the Middle East. Given its high quality, Iranian cement has a good market in neighboring countries.
The country ranks among the world's top four cement producers. Iran's cement production capacity amounts to 80 million tons per year but this figure is expected to reach 120 million tons in 10 years.
Iran's cement industry draws on advantages such as availability of raw materials and skilled workforce, modern technologies, high quality and low costs.
Currently, Iran produces 27 types of cement. Industry activists maintain that to expand export markets, Iran is required to facilitate trade, establish an effective preferential tariff system and support and establish export bodies.
