Prague ready to invest in infrastructural projects

Charge d'Affaires of the Czech Republic to Iran Peter Stephen said on Tuesday that Czech investors and companies are ready to undertake development and infrastructural projects in the Islamic Republic.

Speaking to officials in Alborz Province, Stephen said cooperation between the two countries is very good and promising. The lifting of economic sanctions against Iran will bring more Czech companies to the country, he said, reported IRNA.

The Czech Republic is eager to broaden cooperation with Iran mainly in infrastructural projects and environment, he added.

Deputy Governor General of Alborz Province in charge for development affairs Heirbod Masoumi said grounds are well prepared for active presence of foreign investors in the province.

Alborz welcomes establishment of bus and truck manufacturing plants, he said.

Construction of green administrative towns with renewable energy is among the priorities of Alborz, he added.
