Shourmast Village, located eight kilometers from Savadkouh City, with untapped natural resources, attracts many tourists in the fall which is the most colorful season of the year.
The village, with 110 households, is among the exemplary tourist attractions of the province. All construction projects take into consideration its traditional and local architecture.
Gholamreza Faqihi, head of Savadkouh City Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation, said since the villages and cities of Mazandaran Province are close to each other, his institution can easily promote traditional architecture in the region and prevent the use of urban architectural features in rural houses.
He said a plan, called 'Valuable Texture', has been implemented in the rural regions of the province.
"The plan, aimed at encouraging people to design building façades based on traditional architecture, has been carried out in Kandolous and Javaherdeh villages," Faqihi noted.
