Dy FM: Damascus coordination needed for fight against ISIS

Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that the decision by the UK and France to confront ISIS would be legitimate when, upon international law, only if it takes place in coordination with the Syrian legal government.

Amir Abdollahian told IRNA on Thursday that the secret of Iran-Russia success in helping fight against terrorism in Syria is their coordination with the Syrian government and military; observing respect for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
The DyFM stressed that the fight against terrorism should not lead to foreign military interference and ignorance of international law.
Britain's parliament authorized government to use air attack in fight against ISIS on Wednesday evening.
