Zarif: Present round of talks to pave way for final deal

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said the present round of talks between Iran and G5+1 could pave the way for a final agreement.

He made the remark while talking to reporters upon arrival in Vienna Airport on Tuesday morning, IRNA reported.

Iranian foreign minister noted all previous rounds of talks have been highly sensitive.

However, he added, the deal is quite far from reach during the present round of talks as the remaining issues to tackle are numerous.

As Iranian President Hassan Rouhani stated, there is an overall agreement on the need to continue talks while the issues discussed in the past few rounds of talks have focused on details, Zarif added.

He believed issues like the level of enrichment as well as timetable and methods of removing sanctions are also of vital significance.

Zarif hoped the other sides too could work towards a solution which would benefit all by acknowledging the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program.
