Deputy FM to discuss ties in Norway

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for American and European Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi left Tehran for Oslo on Monday for talks with Norwegian political and economic officials.


Heading a trade delegation, Takht-Ravanchi will attend the 6th round of Iran-Norway political negotiations in Oslo, Tasnim News Agency reported.

Bilateral, regional and international issues will be on agenda in his meetings with Norwegian officials.

Representatives from a number of Iranian companies engaged in shipping, insurance, mining, agriculture, oil, gas, medical and pharmaceutical sectors are accompanying the deputy foreign minister in the trip.

Economic activists from the two countries are going to convene a meeting to explore avenues for expansion of trade ties between Tehran and Oslo.
