'Open Window' looks on to Austria's Festival of Nations

Iranian short movie 'Open Window' will attend the competition section of 44th Festival of Nations in Austria.

In its first international presence, 'Open Window', directed by Afshin Rezaei, will be screened at the 44th Festival of Nations in Austria which is scheduled for May 13-19, Mehr News Agency reported.

The event will host 107 movies from Germany, Spain, France, Iran, the UK, Russia, Italy, Turkey, America, Poland and Austria.

Produced by Rood Film, 'Open Window' is based on a story of the same name by Hector Hugh Munro (Saki).

The movie is about an impatient man who lives in a crowded and polluted city. He is exhausted of traffic and noise of urban life. At his sister's suggestion, he moves out of town where he encounters strange events.

Festival of Nations is an international short-film festival in Lenzing, Upper Austria, near the lake Attersee. It welcomes numerous filmmakers from around the globe, who hand in films in the categories of fiction, animation and documentary from one to thirty minutes duration.
