Iranian Cinema Celebration winners awarded

Winners of the 16th Celebration of Iranian Cinema were awarded in a ceremony at Tehran's Milad Tower on Friday evening.

The annual festival marks Iran's National Cinema Day (September 12). It is sponsored by the House of Cinema.

'The Queen' by Mohammad Ali Basheh Ahangar scooped 10 awards to rock the festival categories. These are: The best film, best director, best editing, best cinematography, best visual effects, best sound mixing, best sound recording, best set design, best actor and best supporting actor.
