Iran's short films to vie at Apchat film fest

Three Iranian short films will be screened at the 7th One Country One Film International Film Festival in Apchat City, France from July 29-31.

Short films from a number of countries will represent their nations at the festival where each film selected is the sole (except for the honored country) representative for its country (country of production or in some cases country of shooting) in each of the following categories: Feature Films, Short Films, Children Films.

The event's seventh edition is scheduled to honor works by Iranian filmmakers on the last three days of July.

Organized by Un Monde Meilleur Association, the festival has no competition except for the Public Award and the Young Public Award.

'Roofs Covered with Snow' (Gharly Damlar) by Hayedeh Moradi which received the award for best short documentary at the 9th Cinéma Vérité Festival in Tehran in December 2015, is one of the works to be screened at the event.

'Three Years, Three Months and Two Days' by Davood Rahmani and Saeed Valizadeh along with 'Pale Mirrors' by Salem Salavat are the other Iranian works chosen so far for the event.
