Iranian short film 'Valad', directed by Amir Abbas Rabiee, won the Special Jury Award of the Women Film section at the Open Film Festival of Bangladesh.

Produced by Soureh Film Club, 'Valad' recounts the story of a new guest at a small hospital in Gaza which is left destroyed in every part due to severe bombardments. It is a short story of a mother struggling with child-killer bombs, Mehr News Agency reported.
