Mayor of Belgrade due in Tehran on Sept. 8

Mayor of Belgrade Siniša Mali left the Serbian capital on Wednesday evening for a four-day official visit to Tehran.

Mali's visit to Tehran is aimed at exchanging views on issue of mutual interest with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, IRNA reported.

The talks would focus on inking an agreement for Tehran-Belgrade cooperation. 

While in Tehran, Mayor of Belgrade is to become familiar with different sectors of basic city services of the Iranian capital including sanitation, subway and water filtration factories and share Tehran's experiences on those issues.

In his talks with Tehran's mayor, Mali is also to discuss naming Tehran and Belgrade as sister cities.
