Iranˈs electricity export rises 3.3 percent

Tehran, Sept 19, IRNA – Iranˈs electricity export to the neighboring countries in the first half of the year raised 3.3 percent in comparison with the same period of the last year.

IRNA quoting Energy Ministry reported that since beginning of the Iranian calendar year (which began on March 21) Iran has exported 5,368.5 gigawatts of electricity to neighboring states.



Iran exports and swaps electricity with the neighboring countries like Armenia, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan Republic, Nakhchivan autonomous Republic, Iraq and Afghanistan.
