Zakharova said the NATO deployment was "a path that provokes confrontation between our countries", Reuters reported.
The Kremlin said on Thursday it was concerned by what it described as a military build-up in Poland, saying the move represented a threat to its national security.
Asked about a dossier containing claims that Russian officials had assembled a file of compromising information on US President-elect Donald Trump, Zakharova dismissed its contents as "meagre".
Zakharova said the dossier was aimed at further harming U.S.-Russia relations, which are already at their lowest level since the Cold War.
Two US officials said on Tuesday that the heads of four US intelligence agencies had last week presented Trump with classified documents which included unverified claims that Russian intelligence operatives had compromising information about him.
