Annual non-oil exports exceed $44b

Iran's non-oil exports exceeded $44 billion in the Iranian year which ended on March 20, announced a senior trade official.

"Iran's non-oil exports increased 3.5-percent last year as compared with the figure for the preceding year," Deputy Trade Minister Mojtaba Khosrotaj was quoted as saying by Fars News Agency.

The main exported commodity was gas condensates worth $6.571 billion which accounted for 17 percent of overall non-oil export.

During the period, China was the largest buyer of Iranian products by purchasing goods worth $7.298 billion. The UAE, Iraq, Turkey and South Korea ranked after China in the value of goods imported from Iran.
