The book was warmly received in Russia and the Russians are eagerly awaiting subsequent volumes of the book. This provides is a fine opportunity to introduce Iranian culture to the Russians.
The Persian version of the book was compiled by prominent Iranian author Mohammadreza Yousefi.
The full collection will have 100 volumes of which 37 have been written, IRNA reported.
20 volumes of the series were marketed so far, while the writer has prepared 17 other books for publication.
Yousefi was born in Hamedan, Iran, in 1953. With over two hundred titles to his credit, he is one of the most prolific authors of children's and young adult books in Iran.
He has received numerous prizes and a number of his texts have been adapted for children's and young people's theater. He has twice received the IBBY Diploma, and in 2000 was nominated for the Hans Christian Andersen Award.
The objective of introducing the best book of the year is to appreciate Russian publishers' activities. That's why receiving the award is of high significance for them.
The Red Square Book Festival was be held in Moscow from June 3-6, timed to coincide with the birthday of Russia's most famous poet, Alexander Pushkin, and Russian Language Day.
