According to Fars News Agency, Sanaei noted, "All infrastructures and conditions for the expansion of all-out relations between Iran and Russia are ready."
The ambassador reiterated that Iran has a number of plans to boost trade between the two countries.
"In his second-term in office, President (Hassan) Rouhani will increase his efforts to further expand cooperation between the two countries," Sanaei added.
In relevant remarks in mid-June, senior Russian officials in a meeting with their Iranian counterparts in Moscow studied investment opportunities in Iran.
"In a joint meeting in Moscow, 70 industrialists, entrepreneurs and businessmen from Russia and Iran reviewed the future of investment in Iran," said Iran's Commercial Attaché in Moscow Davoud Mirzakhani.
He pointed out that after the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), economic cooperation between Iran and Russia is growing in various fields.
"Many issues such as expansion of banking cooperation between the two countries, normalization of economic and banking cooperation, and promotion of economic infrastructure such as signing legal and preliminary documents, customs office formalities as well as transportations over past four years have been resolved," he added.
The two sides also studied avenues for free trade agreements between Tehran and Eurasia and also finalizing North-South transit route as well as the expansion of trilateral relations between Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan.
