Miami to host nine Iranian short films

Nine Iranian short films will compete in the 16th Miami Short Film Festival which is scheduled to be held in November 2017 in Florida, the US.

The films are 'Birthday Night' directed by Omid Shams, 'Reading Khayyam' by Ali Nikfar, 'Not Yet' by Arian Vazir-Daftari, 'Numbness' by Milad Jarmuz, 'Crimson Season' by Hassan Najmabadi, 'The Man Who Wasn't Here' by Ata Mojabi, 'Retouch' by Kave Mazaheri, 'The Servant' by Farnoush Abedi and 'The Windows' by Mina Valizade, the festival's website wrote.

The current round of the festival, which is scheduled for November 6–11,  will feature 84 films from countries including the US, Germany, Peru, Sweden, Costa Rica, Japan, Puerto Rico, France, Britain, Mexico, Greece, Spain, Australia, the Netherlands and Italy.
