Switzerland ready to broaden tourism ties with Isfahan

Switzerland is ready to broaden scientific and cultural cooperation with Isfahan, said the Swiss Foreign Ministry's director general for Middle East and North Africa.

Wolfgang Amadeus Bruelhart, in a meeting with Isfahan Governor General Rasoul Zargarpour, pointed to Isfahan's 7,000-year history and said that his country is eager to broaden cultural cooperation with the province, IRNA wrote.

"Switzerland is very experienced in various scientific fields and can broaden cooperation with Isfahan in many sectors," he added.

There are many artists in Switzerland who can benefit from the knowledge and experiences of artists in Isfahan and the two sides can have an exchange program for artists, he said.

Isfahan governor general said that following the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the visit by Switzerland president to Iran, grounds are well-prepared for broadening political, economic and cultural cooperation between the two sides.

"Global and regional conditions call for the expansion of relations and cooperation between the two sides," Zargarpour said.
