The Cavaliers suffered a blowout 114-95 loss to the Knicks on Sunday to take them to 3-4 for the season with their four defeats coming in their last five games, the Express reported.
It was also the Knicks’ first win over the Cavaliers after a 10-game winless run with Kristaps Porzingis registering a double-double with 32 points and 12 rebounds.
In contrast, James had just 16 points and only Kyle Korver for the Cavaliers shot over 50 percent from the field.
The Cavaliers had a small lead in the first quarter but in truth they were never close to challenging the Knicks for the win.
It is only the second time a team with James in has been under .500 after the opening seven games to the season with the only other time coming in his rookie season at the Cavaliers.
But the four-time MVP insisted he is not worried in the slightest as there is still plenty of time left in the season.
“It was really bad. We were pretty bad defensively,” James said.
“What month is this? October? I’m not about to go crazy over it right now.
“It’s too long of a season and I’ve been a part of this way too many times.
“So I’m the wrong guy to ask. I’m too positive right now.”
