“The tripartite cooperation among Iran, Syria and Russia on one hand and the Lebanese Hezbollah on the other helped foil the plots by the West, the United States and Israeli regime aimed at creating rifts and crisis in the region and increasing Tel Aviv's margin of safety,' said Mohsen Alavi member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Parliament, IRNA reported.
“We are witnessing that the government of Syria is playing an increasingly powerful role today and that all the conspiracies constructed to disintegrate Syria and change the country's political structure have been obstructed,” Alavi told IRNA.
“The fall of former Daesh headquarters of Al-Bukamal, was a final nail in the coffin of terrorists,” he said.
The Iranian Member of Parliament also denounced the US treatment of the terrorists. “The US showed that it was involved both in promoting and propping up of the terrorists as well as helping them escape the situation.”
He said that in order to completely put an end to the 'extremist ideology' of the Daesh terrorists, further cultural, scientific and illuminative work should be done.
