The 10th meeting of Iran nuclear deal joint commission is scheduled to be held in Austria’s capital, Vienna, tomorrow.
The eighth and ninth meetings of the Joint Commission were held, on July 21 and September 20, respectively, IRNA reported.
The ninth meeting was held at the ministerial level in the US city of New York.
Under the terms of the 2015 nuclear agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the commission is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the nuclear deal.
The European Union (EU) said on Monday that the Joint Commission sees the upcoming meeting as an opportunity for reviewing JCPOA implementation in terms of nuclear issues and sanctions.
Iran and the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council – the United States, France, Britain, Russia and China – plus Germany signed the nuclear agreement on July 14, 2015 and started implementing it on January 16, 2016.
Although the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has repeatedly verified Iran’s compliance with the deal, US President Donald Trump said in October that he might ultimately terminate the agreement.
