Calling on the United States to abide by its commitments, Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi told IRIB correspondent on Wednesday that the Islamic Republic of Iran is fully prepared to deal with any possible scenarios in which the United States withdraws from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action
(JCPOA), MNA reported.
He stated that reviewing the JCPOA in the US Congress is an internal issue and added, "what matters to us is the commitment of the US government to fulfill its obligations on time, and we want the US government to stop breaking its obligations.”
"The Special Committee on JCPOA in Iran’s Supreme National Security Council has compiled necessary measures in case the US withdraws international commitments," said Qasemi.
The US Congress has two months to decide the two month whether to stay in the nuclear deal with Iran after the US president decertifying the deal almost two months ago and the time is ending tomorrow.
