In a message released on Tuesday to the international event, Abbas Salehi pointed out that undoubtedly, efforts to accomplish sustainable and mutual understanding between the spectator and the art of work are not the only purpose of contemporary art, but also one of the main features of that, IRNA wrote.
He argued that the 36th edition of the theatrical event is the festival of Iran's theater dialogue.
Dialogue which is continuing between artwork and the spectator gradually finds its way among art lovers and changes into a person through whom humans rejuvenate, he explained metaphorically.
Work of arts cannot be created without the presence of spectators, Salehi added.
The 36th Fajr International Theater Festival is slated for January 18-29. The secretary of this year's event is Farhad Mohandespour.
