Tokyo International Gift Show will for the first time host an exhibition of Iranian handicrafts in its 2018 edition.

Iran will take part in the second week of the 85th edition of the show which has been called the best gateway to Japan's gift market.

According to Mehr News Agency, the representative of Iran's tourism in Japan Abbas Ali Emamieh said that 11 Iranian artists have participated in the exhibition. Iranian products must, however, be able to compete with foreign ones both in terms of quality and quantity."
