4-magnitude quake jolts western Iran again

An earthquake measuring 4 on Richter scale hit Taza-Abad, Kermanshah Province, western Iran on Thursday.

The quake occurred at 6:49 hours local time (03:19 GMT) and its epicenter was registered at 46.20 degrees longitude and 34.58 degrees latitude in a depth of eight kilometers.

Since the 7.3-magniude earthquake that happened on November 12, 2017, more than 1,800 aftershocks have been recorded in the province. 

The November earthquake left more than 600 killed and more than 12,300 injured; it also damaged 10 cities and 930 villages, IRNA reported.
