Iranian refinery saves over $3.8m by applying staff ideas

Iran's Fajr Jam Gas Refinery has saved $3.82 million by taking up the suggestions on improving the company's processes and operations put forward by its staff during the year to mid-March 2018.

A director of the refinery, Yousef Pouladian, added the company's figures indicate that it has achieved all its targets in the year to March 21, 2018, Shana reported.

He added his department received 10,000 ideas from its staff on improving the company's operations, of which 2,500 were implemented during the one-year period.

Pouladian said the company has operated beyond expectations in the current year.

He added the company was lauded for efficiently organizing a system for accepting suggestions from its employees and using the ideas to improve its operations at the 14th National Festival for Employee Suggestion Systems.
