Iran exports over $400m of goods to Turkmenistan

Iran's exports to Turkmenistan exceeded $400 million during the eleven months from March 21, 2017-February 21, 2018, said Iran's commercial attaché in Ashgabat.

According to Fars News Agency, Rahmatollah Khoramli added, "The value of Iran-Turkmenistan trade exchanges stood at $1 billion, including $400 million of exports, in 2017."

Khoramli, who was addressing the closing ceremony of the 14th Iran Exclusive Exhibition in Ashgabat, appreciated Turkmen officials for successfully holding Iran Exhibition and Trade Conference.

He said that in the exhibition, over 60 Iranian companies displayed their latest industrial, technical and engineering capabilities.

Meanwhile, Head of Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce Baba Golich Golijov told the gathering that the program has had positive impacts on further enhancing ties between the two neighboring and friendly countries.
