Head of the ICHHTO office in Zanjan, northwestern Iran, Yahya Rahmati said that the agreement dealt with ways to improve maintenance and repair works of antiques in the province, IRNA wrote.
The agreement, which was concluded during the fourth archeological and interdisciplinary studies of Chehrabad Salt Mine, was signed by the Zanjan office of ICHHTO and German Mining Museum in Bochum, Germany; Central Museum of Roman German in Mainz, Frankfurt Archeological Museum as well as the Natural History Museum, Vienna, Austria.
The agreement also deals with organizing exhibitions both in Iran and Germany.
In all, 1,800 historical sites were identified in the province and 746 cases were registered as national heritage sites of Iran.
