Tobias Voss told IRNA that the next edition of Frankfurt Book Fair will be held on October 10-14, 2018.
Speaking on the sidelines of the 31st Tehran International Book Fair, Voss said that Iran has a rich, ancient culture, but only 12 percent of the works by Iranian authors has the capacity to be translated to other languages.
He believed that Iranian publishers should take the market needs and marketing techniques into consideration to be able to present their products in a more competitive way.
Tehran International Book Fair, spanning an area of 130,000 square meters, was opened to public on May 2 and will run until May 12. A number of publishers from Germany, China, Italy, Oman, Hungary, Austria, Russia and Iraq are also presenting their books in the fair.
Serbia is the guest country and Tunis (the capital city of Tunisia) is the guest city of the Tehran International Book Fair.
