For the moment, a total of 52 cases of hemorrhagic fever have been reported in the region, including 31 confirmed of Ebola, 13 probable and eight suspected, according to xinhuanet.com.
Launched since, the vaccination campaign is underway in this region where the epidemic has been declared by the authorities in three health zones since May 8.
In a statement released Wednesday, the Minister of Health and other partners including Medicines Sans Frontiers (MSF) engaged in the response to the epidemic lamented the resistance of patients against treatment in isolation centers.
Two people have already died in their villages after fleeing the isolation center.
