Iran's non-oil exports from March 2 to June 17, 2018 hit 11.242 billion dollars registering a 21 percent increase compared to the similar period last year, the head of the Customs Administration said Thursday.

The country's imports in the afore-mentioned period showed a five percent decline compared to the corresponding period in 2017, Foroud Asgari said, IRNA reported.

Statistics show that 9.984 billion dollars worth of commodities were imported to the country during the March-June period, he said.

Asgari added that Iran’s trade balance up to June 17 was positive standing at 1.258 billion dollars.
