An automatic qualification for the quarterfinals as the group winner means Iran will face the winner of the New Zealand-India fixture in the last eight on August 9.
Having started on August 5, the 25th edition of the competition will finish in the Thai city of Nonthaburi on August 11.
The top four teams will represent Asia in the 2019 FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup.
