Iranian robotics teams have displayed a great performance in the 2018 FIRA RoboWorld Cup in Taiwan, said the head of Iranian FIRA National Committee.

He also said that the students from the Amirkabir University of Technology shined in the university student section, and its AUTMAV team came third in the ‘Flying Robots’ contest after teams from China and Taiwan.

Meanwhile, Sadeqnejad added that in the under-19 category, the robotics teams from Danesh High School located in Tehran succeeded in overcoming all their opponents and won the ‘Urban Disaster Management’ section, while the Danesh EXPress — which is the team B from the same high school — won the second place in the same category.

The 23th FIRA RoboWorld Cup and Congress has attracted some 250 robotics teams from 20 different countries.
