Iran's maestro Rahbari to conduct orchestra in Slovakia, Turkey

Renowned Iranian composer and conductor Ali Rahbari has been invited to conduct orchestras in Turkish cities of Istanbul, Antalya and Izmir as well as Slovak Philharmonic in coming months.

He will conduct İzmir State Symphony Orchestra on November 16, Antalya State Symphony Orchestra on December 14, ISNA wrote.

In the 39th chapter of his cooperation with the Slovak group, he will conduct Slovak Philharmonic on February 29, 2019.

He is scheduled to conduct Antalya State Symphony Orchestra and Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra on April 5 and May 24 respectively.

Rahbari has worked with more than 120 European orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.

Born in Tehran on May 26, 1948, Rahbari studied violin and composition with Rahmatollah Badiee and Hossein Dehlavi at the Persian National Music Conservatory.

He has been a violinist at the Fine Arts Administration Orchestra No. 1 (conducted by Hossein Dehlavi) since he was 17.
