"It is not acceptable that these groups are not listed as terrorist organizations by the European Union as long as they have not carried out a terrorist attack in Europe," Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi was quoted as saying by IRNA.
The Saudi-backed al-Ahvaziya terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack.
Iran strongly protested to the European countries over residence of members of the terrorist group in their countries.
At least 25 people were killed and 60 others injured in the Saturday terrorist attack, according to Deputy Governor of Khuzestan Province Ali Hossein Hosseinzadeh.
Three of the terrorists were shot dead at the scene while a fourth was arrested and later succumbed to his wounds, armed forces spokesman Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi said.
