Abu Dhabi Art Fair to showcase four Iranian works

An art fair in the UAE’s capital will showcase four Iranian works from November 14-17, IRNA reported Monday.

Parvaneh Razzaqi’s abstract painting inspired by Iranian miniature, and three sculptures by her fellow countrymen Amir-Hossein Kolivand, Hossein Akrami, and Alireza Band-Golestani will represent the country in Abu Dhabi Art Fair.

The organizing committee selected the works from a collection of last three editions of Fajr International Festival of Visual Arts presented by Iran’s Institute for Promotion of Contemporary Visual Art.

Offering an outstanding sales platform, Abu Dhabi Art Fair provides the galleries with an opportunity to display installations and world-class works by their artists to a huge number of visitors.

Organized by Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism, the event’s 10th edition is expected to attract 20,000 visitors. Last year, 45 galleries from 18 countries participated in the fair.
