Over 100 trade codes have been offered to foreign buyers to allow them to engage in trading Iranian crude and oil products in the Energy Bourse, Ali Kardor told IRNA on Friday.
Securities Exchange Organization (SEO) announced on October 16 that Iranian crude oil was scheduled to be traded on the Energy Bourse as of October 28.
Kardor said that Iran's Oil Ministry and the National Iranian Oil Company are determined to trade Iranian oil on the Bourse as per schedule.
The base price for Iran's oil will be $79.15 per barrel.
Each day, one million barrels of Iranian oil will be traded on the Energy Bourse and all buyers will thus exchange Iranian oil.
Oil trade on the Energy Bourse will continue until November 4 and the final decision will be announced following reconsideration.
