Iranian films participating in two A-list festivals

The 2018 Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia and 2018 International Film Festival of India in Goa are hosting a number of Iranian films in different categories.

The 22nd Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, which is considered as one of the 15 A-list festivals in the world, began on November 16 and will run through December 2, 2018 in Tallinn, Estonia.

Iranian film 'Sheeple' directed by Houman Seyyedi is taking part in the main competition section of the event.

In addition, 'Kejal' directed by Nima Yar, 'Iro' by Hadi Mohaqeq, 'Everybody Knows' by Asghar Farhadi and 'Firecrackers' by Jasmin Mozaffari as well as 'Role' directed by Farnoosh Samadi, 'Blister' by Morteza Shams, 'Birthday Night' by Omid Shams and 'AUGENBLICKE: A Blink of an Eye' by Kiana Naqshineh are the other Iranian features and short films that will be screened in the event.

Also, the 49th International Film Festival of India, which is also considered as one of the 15 A-list festivals in the world, began on November 20 and will run through November 28, 2018 in Goa, hosting 212 films from 68 countries.

Iranian film 'Iro' is among the 15 films participating in the competition section of the event.

'3 Faces' directed by Jafar Panahi, 'The Old Road' by Manijeh Hekmat and 'Border' by Ali Abbasi are other Iranian films that will go on silver screen at the event.
