Bahman Abdollahi said at a press conference in Tehran on Wednesday that the event indicates the failure of US policies to isolate Iran, reported Fars News Agency.
"The conference coincides with the start of sanctions and therefore we have tried to hold it at the highest level since one of the objectives of the US in imposing economic sanctions is to isolate Iran politically," said Abdollahi.
The conference is to be held from November 26-30.
"The participation of 30 countries from four continents in the conference is a demonstration of the failure of the US policies to isolate Iran politically," he added.
The 13th Asia Pacific Regional Conference will be held for the first time in Tehran in cooperation with Iran's Chamber of Cooperatives.
The last round of the event was organized in India, where Iran was given the honor of hosting the next meeting.
In total 30 countries as well as 250 managers plan to take part in the event.
In October, Abdollahi said in a meeting with South Korean Ambassador to Tehran Ryu Jeong-hyun that the Islamic Republic expects South Korea, as one of its key business partners, to continue operation in Iran in the situation created by the US sanctions.
Given the good history of South Korean firms' presence in Iran, they can use the opportunity created after the withdrawal of European companies from the Iranian market, and expand ties with the Islamic Republic, he noted.
