According to a report by Eghtesadonline, the figure registered a 10.2-percent growth compared to the figure for the same period last year.
Cement accounted for 3.8 million tons of the exports, said Abdolreza Sheikhan, the secretary of the Cement Association.
During the period, more than 50 percent of the clinker and cement exports went to Iraq and Afghanistan, said Sheikhan.
Also, around 247,000 tons of cement were exported to Central Asian countries, mostly to Uzbekistan, via railroad through Sarakhs border crossing in Iran's Khorasan Razavi Province during the seven months, Mohammad Hadi Ziaeimehr, the director general of Khorasan Razavi Railroad Department said.
Ziaeimehr noted that Sarakhs border crossing handles 90 percent of Iran's cement exports via rail.
