He was awarded in the piano section of the festival which was held from April 8 to 11 at the Baku Academy of Music.
Organized by the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, performers from Iran, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Turkey, Morocco, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and the Republic of Bashkortostan participated in the competition, IRNA reported.
The closing ceremony was attended by cultural officials of Azerbaijan, Iran’s Cultural Attaché Asghar Farsi and representatives of other participating countries.
Iranian artist, Nasser Jahanara, was among the jurors.
The contest aims to uncover new talents, exchange international experience and ideas, portray the Azerbaijani culture and arts for teenagers and youth from all over the world, and intensify dialogue between performers from the East and the West, Azertac reported.
