The event will take place June 9-12, 2019, reported Fars News Agency.
The exhibition will be hosted by Pardis Technology Park and co-organized by the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology, and the Presidential Center for Innovation and Technology Cooperation (CITC).
The 174 exhibitors will participate in the INOTEX 2019, which, as a premier regional event for professionals engaged in technology and innovation, aims to provide unique opportunities for Iranian and overseas innovators to share their expertise and display their latest achievements in related areas.
Exhibitors include startups, new businesses, inventors, industrial parks, investors and high tech companies, which are keen to define technological cooperation with Iranian companies and the participating overseas companies.
“Iran has had the fastest scientific growth in the world, which has been 11 times higher than the average global rate,” said the head of Iran’s Science and Elites Committee, Ahmad Faza’eli, in December, 2018, addressing a forum in Tehran.
He added that Iran ranks first in the region, and 16th in the world, in scientific production.
Faza’eli noted that Iran stood among the top 11 countries in satellite-launch technology, and ranked 8th in the world in orbiting satellites.
