‘Orange Days’ to participate in three int’l festivals

Iranian fiction-feature, ‘Orange Days,’ will take part in three international film festivals in the US, Spain and Germany in the coming months.

Directed by Arash Lahooti, the film will take part in the 45th Seattle International Film Festival in the United States, scheduled for May 16-June 9, reported.

The fiction-feature will then participate in the 18th Imagineindia International Film Festival in Madrid, Spain, slated for May 17-31.

Lahooti’s film will also be screened at the 6th Iranian Film Festival in Cologne, Germany, which to run from May 30-June 2.

‘Orange Days’ narrates the story of Aban, an overworked contractor in her forties, who is dead set on outbidding her male competitor, Kazem, in harvesting, along with her crew of seasonal female workers, the largest orange orchard in the region.

The movie won three awards at the 67th Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival in Germany in November 2018.
