The Iranian cinema organization, Art Bureau, has taken part in the 2019 Cannes Film Market – also known as Marche du Film – in France, with seven works.
The works comprise two features, three documentaries, one short film and two animated movies, IRNA reported.
Being held in parallel with and on the sidelines of the 72nd Cannes Film Festival (May 14-25).
The Art Bureau, which is among the main producers and distributors of features, documentaries, short films and animated movies in Iran, has a pavilion in the 2019 Cannes Film Market.
Some of the works on display at Art Bureau’s pavilion include ‘Main Idea,’ directed by Azita Mogouei, ‘Once a Woman’ by Jalil Akbari-Sehat, ‘A House for You’ by Mehdi Bakhshi-Moqaddam, ‘The 40th Day’ by Hamid Koohpaei, ‘Captain No. 22’ by Arman Qolipour-Dashtaki and ‘The Last Fish’ by Masoud Saemin.
During the event, a large number of managers and representatives of international film distribution and broadcasting institutes and movie studios and companies as well as organizers of major festivals visited the Iranian pavilion and discussed expansion of cultural ties.
They were from China, Japan, South Korea, France, Singapore, India, the UK, Romania, Albania, the US, Spain, Macedonia, Austria, Germany and Kazakhstan.
