Three Iranian animated films to compete in Animafest Zagreb

Three Iranian short animated films made it into the competition section of the 47th World Festival of Animated Film Zagreb (Animafest Zagreb) to be held in Croatia.

Established in 1972, Animafest Zagreb is the second oldest animation festival in the world, after the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, according to Mehr News Agency.

The three Iranian animated movies to be screened in the prestigious festival include ‘Am I a Wolf?’ directed by Amir Houshang Moein, ‘Morning,’ by Reyhane Kavosh and ‘One Person,’ by Mahboobeh Kalaee.

‘Am I a Wolf’ features children in school performing a puppet show narrating the story of a wolf attacking a nanny’s yeanlings.

‘Morning’ is a musical animated movie about the beautiful beginning of a day in city life.

The length of ‘One Person’ is about 210 seconds.

‘Am I a Wolf?’ recently won the New Face Award at the 22nd Japan Media Arts Festival.

The 47th edition of Animafest Zagreb will be held during June 3-8, screening 113 animated films from 86 countries.
