Japan PM visits National Museum of Iran

Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo visited National Museum of Iran and signed memorial book of the museum on Thursday afternoon.

Iran's Ambassador to Japan Morteza Rahmani-Movahhed and Japanese Ambassador to Tehran Mitsugu Saito as well as deputy head of Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Mohammad-Hassan Talebian as well as the director of the National Museum of Iran Jebrael Nokandeh accompanied the prime minister during the visit, IRNA reported.

Earlier on Thursday morning, Abe held talks with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

President Hassan Rouhani officially welcomed PM Abe on Wednesday afternoon at Sa'dabad Cultural Historical Complex in Tehran.
